EFileTahi-A Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 (edited) Hello, When I run my .NET Application in a Windows 2000 OS, it starts to give many errors in message boxes with no text, only buttons. why? Do I need any special config at the win 2000? Special .NET framework? Is there any special requirement (like a service pack or something) to make .NET applications work in win2k? EFileTahi-A Posted December 6, 2004 Author Posted December 6, 2004 Yes, it have. To my acknowledge all .NET software can only be executed on machines with either .NET framework or Visual Studio .NET installed (that question was kinda offensive). :p Quote
*Experts* DiverDan Posted December 7, 2004 *Experts* Posted December 7, 2004 Actually, PlausiblyDamp's suggestion was very good as it is the first place to look...kind of like checking if it's plugged in. I use both Win2K and XP and there are no special anythings that are required. I think you many have a different problem... Dumb question 2... Are both DotNet Frameworks the same version...1.0 vs 1.1? 1.0 can run on 1.1 but not the reverse. Quote Member, in good standing, of the elite fraternity of mentally challenged programmers.
