I hook it up to my nVidia GeForce 5200 (ok, not real nice, but adequate) I have both the dvi and the 15 pin analog hooked up. I put the nVidia on clone, 1a is analog, 1b is digital. I get blank screen (well not quite blank, 'NO SIGNAL. . . ENTERING POWER SAVE MODE' when I set the monitor on digital input. the analog input works fine. any ideas? and question. is 60hz digital refresh gonna still look better than 75hz analog refresh??? You hooked the same monitor up to two seperate video inputs at once? The Hardware (monitor) is probobly programmed to only work with one input. I'd think they'd just choose one as the "master" input and ignore the other one but you never know... The Clone/Span and Digital Video/Analog is for two seperate displays, not the same one. It might be the card giving the problem, though I'd think it would be the monitor. What exactly are you trying to do? Overlay the two images (which should be the same)? Just see what happens? Quote

Just see what happens? no, I want trying to overlay, I was just trying to get set up. the vid card sees both connections. I.e. i disconnect the dvi connection and menu changes, doesnt have section for desktop config. I connect the dvi and it shows the other connection and allows me to setup multiple monitors. I was depending on the input switch of the monitor to switch betwen the analog and dvi signal. I shut down, disconnect the analog reboot with the just dvi, I get the signal not found error. I think its the monitor.
