microkarl Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 All, Is it possible to have .dlls on a web page and when the page loads every time to check all the .dlls version from the GAC to see if it matches. If it does, then don't download that specific .dll. By doing this way, loading a web page that has multiple .dlls will not take mintues to load since certain .dlls need not to be "re-download". Thanks Quote Donald DUCK : YOU ARE FIRED!!!
Administrators PlausiblyDamp Posted November 5, 2004 Administrators Posted November 5, 2004 Download the DLLs to where? If this is a ASP.Net solution then all the Dlls etc remain on the server anyway. Quote Posting Guidelines FAQ Post Formatting Intellectuals solve problems; geniuses prevent them. -- Albert Einstein
