trend Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 (edited) Logins via ms sql authentication and oledb I am trying to setup a webpage to authenticate users via ms sql authentication over oledb... Can someone point me in the right direction. I have only seen authentication via tables inside of db and windows authentication. I want the user to authenticate directly to the ms sql server, I do not want to just run queires through a user... Basically the user will be able to login via a form, session cookie stores the authentication info and then can run queries based on his security rights... this is totally outside of an intranet, so no use of Domains. thanks!
