Calling Public sub from childforms to Mdiparent

i'm convering my vb.6 appl. to .net

while doing this i'm stucked with Calling Public sub from childforms to Mdiparent. Some public subs are there in all child forms like fnsave, subclearcontrols(to clear control of respective form), subenabledisable(to enable/ disable controls of respective form)

now me.ActiveForm.SubClearControl gives an error

Can you Pls. help me with it.

Cast the child's MdiParent property to the Parent's type and then you can easily use its methods.
