WilliamOMalley Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 Hello, This is my first post here so let me say hi.. Well I have a really interesting problem and I was hoping that someone here could help. I have a report that gets printed that contains graphics.. nothing new.. These graphics contain instructions. White graphic with black Arial text 8pt.. Now what I would like to do is some how get the text from the graphic and create a string that I can print.. My main reason for this is so I could take a graphic that contains 7 or 8 lines of text and print only what i need before my page break.. See right now if I have a graphic that contains 8 lines of text and I only have room on the page for 4 more lines, I have to go to a new page.. I would like to avoid this as it happens a lot and I dont like wasting paper. I have been looking into Histograms and Kohonen self-organising Map Any help would be great Thanks William O'Malley Quote
Administrators PlausiblyDamp Posted November 10, 2004 Administrators Posted November 10, 2004 Are you generating the graphic yourself or is that being provided 'as is' with the text already drawn? If the graphic is being pre-generated what kind of background is present? Quote Posting Guidelines FAQ Post Formatting Intellectuals solve problems; geniuses prevent them. -- Albert Einstein
