Joe Mamma Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 (edited) Run this MSI. . . set up instructions There is a sub directory under the App Installation path, test bed component with a sln file, TestBed. . . TestBed.sln contains two projects TestBed and TestHTTPScript in TestBed references . . . delete the two 'Not Found' References (an AXInterop and a Interop for the MSScriptControl) recreate the references to refer to the assemblies that are in the App installation path. Recompile. now Open TestHTTPScript. Run. . . select script1.vbs from the Application Installation folder. Note. . . I had to change a couple of simple things from your script so it would interact with the .NET Web Classes I hope I have this distribution configured properly. . . reply if there are any problems [edit] REFER TO THIS POST [/EDIT] Edited August 9, 2004 by Joe Mamma Quote Joe Mamma Amendment 4: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. Joe Mamma Posted August 9, 2004 Author Posted August 9, 2004 Oh yeah. . . It running scripts is only one part of it. . . its real deal is the HTTPTestInstance has events that are fired as connection is made, requests are created and responses are received. These can be used for logging activities. . . Custom Event args have time info in them Quote Joe Mamma Amendment 4: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. cyclonebri Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Joe, This solution is awesome. When I ran the MSI there was no solution in the package, but that was not a big deal. I simply created a new solution, put the two projects in the solution, set the startup project to the TestHTTPScript and then removed and readded the references for the TestBed Project. The thing works like a charm and is super fast...Thank you so much! I will let you know if I encounter any problems with it as I try to integrate the other 22 send requests :). Again, Thank you so much! Brian Quote
Joe Mamma Posted August 9, 2004 Author Posted August 9, 2004 I didnt know what 'Sleep' was in your script, but you can do what ever you want when 'Sleep' is called by applying an OnSleep event handler. here to serve Quote Joe Mamma Amendment 4: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
