Cassio Posted July 21, 2004 Posted July 21, 2004 While you're waiting give Call of Duty a go, the atmosphere in it is incredible. Yeah, Call of Dutty is great!! My all time favorite! Quote Stream of Consciousness (My blog)
Jay1b Posted July 23, 2004 Posted July 23, 2004 Solider of Fortune 2. Graphics are a bit dated now, but the gameplay is excellent, very realistic weapons. America's Army seems very good, but i cant be bother to go through all the training missions. - I just want to play the game!! Quote
Arch4ngel Posted July 23, 2004 Author Posted July 23, 2004 Yeahhhh I know... I finished the game once... but what I really like (and that become borign after...) is the Custom Seeded Automatic generated mission. They are cool to do... but it all look the same at the end. But I really enjoy playing SOF2 with a bunch of friend ! When I got the Rocket Launcher against a Snipper (I'm a sniper specialist :p) they see how to "snipe" somebody with a rocket :p lollll Quote "If someone say : "Die mortal !"... don't stay to see if he isn't." - Unknown "Learning to program is like going out with a new girl friend. Leaders Banjo Posted July 27, 2004 Leaders Posted July 27, 2004 Yeah, the trouble is that without going through the training you'll just die horribly when you play the game for real. Quote Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't!
Malfunction Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 It's not a true FPS but I liked Operation Flashpoint a lot. Viet Cong wasn't bad either. Back in the days Duke Nukem was a lot of fun to play. My current machine doesn't allow me to play these new games but I guess that's okay since I'm spending more time doing serious work now. :D Quote Debug me...

ThePentiumGuy Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 I played the Half Life 2 Beta leak at my friend's house... It's so buggy that you'd have to turn on noclip(= no physics and no collision detection) for you to WALK anywhere. It's not as great as I thought.. but then again its a beta. I doubt that Valve will release this in the near future. -The Pentium Guy Quote My VB.NET Game Programming Tutorial Site (GDI+, Direct3D, Tetris [coming soon], a full RPG.... you name it!) vbprogramming.8k.com My Project (Need VB.NET Programmers) http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/ResolutionRPG
*Experts* Nerseus Posted October 31, 2004 *Experts* Posted October 31, 2004 Not release Half Life 2 in the near future? In a bit over 2 weeks: Nov 16. -ner Quote "I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. ThePentiumGuy Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 Trust me :P, it will get pushed. I remember me and a couple of my friends were waiting for the game to come out over the weekend (somewhere around October 9th or 10th ish)... it never came .. Valve updated their site the day before it was supposed to be released and uhh.. they pushed it to 2 weeks later.. they kept pushing and pushing it and now its at Nov. 16th. I hope you do realize that the game was scheduled to be released like... in the beginning of the summer.. ;).. some rumors indicate that it was supposed to be released last year! edit: Oh yeah, btw, they should DEFINATELY release it before christmas.. or a crapload of people wont end up buying it and they'll lose a lot of money. -The Penitum Guy Quote My VB.NET Game Programming Tutorial Site (GDI+, Direct3D, Tetris [coming soon], a full RPG.... you name it!) vbprogramming.8k.com My Project (Need VB.NET Programmers) http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/ResolutionRPG
*Experts* Nerseus Posted November 1, 2004 *Experts* Posted November 1, 2004 Trust me :P' date=' it [i']will [/i]get pushed. Disbeliever! Actually, I remember hearing last year when Valve said they were shooting for end of September. We all know what happened after that. But this time it's Vivendi that's driving the Nov 16 date. I tend to belive the publisher more, since it'll be their butt on the line if it's late. Since the gold master went to Vivendi about a month ago (same as Release Candidate), I trust that all is well. I'd be willing to bet my Cure "Join the Dots" collection on it. That's somewhere between "I'd bet a penny" and "I'd bet my car", but more towards the "I'm pretty sure" and nothing like "I'd bet a million dollars". In the meantime, why not play CS:Source? You can watch the tires roll down the hill, wobble, and tip over. Over shoot big barrels, milk jugs, and more. It's weird how the wooden crates still don't explode though... -ner Quote "I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. JOSHSKORN Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Fav 1st person Shooter Halo all the way (on PC). I have Halo on XBOX and I don't like it as much as the PC version. The maps slightly differ. Halo 2 on XBOX is a joke in terms of how it utilizes XBOX Live with its matchmaking feature. Also, you have to join a new game after each game, which is weak. I'm still playing Halo on PC more than anything else. I'm wondering if Halo 2 will come out on PC and how it will compare. Quote
neodammer Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 CS:Source is out?? NICE! lolz actually that was leaked out hehe. anyway my favorite fps was an old game for the 3DO system ..not really sure if it was released for PC but im almost sure it was called "Killing Time" for some reason i just like the cheesy animated ghost fmv's. From the this list id say Half Life Quote Enzin Research and Development

Leaders snarfblam Posted March 29, 2005 Leaders Posted March 29, 2005 I'm on GameCube. No internet gameplay for me. :( Thats okay by me, though. As far as I'm concerned consoles aren't for internet gameplay. Thats what PC's are for. You add a harddrive, internet connection, microphone, etc to a console and you might as well be using a computer. Quote [sIGPIC]e[/sIGPIC]
