When you launch certain programs in dos, such as a compiler, it prints something to the screen. If you want to send the output to a file, you would use:

">> <FileName>".

 

I am using the Process class, and would like to know how I could do this in VB: (adding ">> TextFile.txt" doesn't do anything)

 

My Code:

'doesn't work 
MyProcess.Start("C:\SayHello.exe", "Jason >> C:\TextFile.txt")
