microkarl Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Hi folks, I do not know if this is just my web browser or .NET (2003), but please try this: add a Dropdownlist to a page, then compile it. When you browser the web page and pull down the Dropdownlist for the VERY FIRST TIME, it will instanly retract back up. but if you click on it the second time, the dropdownlist will hold. Can someone tell me why?? By the way, I am sure I did not click the mouse too fast so the dd retract itself. Carl  Quote Donald DUCK : YOU ARE FIRED!!!
wessamzeidan Posted April 27, 2004 Posted April 27, 2004 Its probably something to do with your browser, I don't think it has anything to do with asp.net Quote Proudly a Palestinian Microsoft ASP.NET MVP My Blog: wessamzeidan.net

microkarl Posted April 27, 2004 Author Posted April 27, 2004 oops.. my bad, there's somthing missing... that wasn't just a regular page. The dropdownlist is inside a win control and was deployed in a web page. And no, no "Is AutoPostBack = True", and I am not quite sure if the problem is from the browser, even though I haven't tested it on others. (I am using IE6), and I am going to download Mozilla and try it there. Quote Donald DUCK : YOU ARE FIRED!!!
