Denaes Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 Hi, I am on VB.Net form page but i couldn't find ADO DATASET COMMAND.. Do i need to add any reference? thanks Reading the Help on ADO.Net will reveal that it's the name of all of the datacontrols. OleDb is for generic connections like Access Sql is for SQL Server databases. Creating an instance of any of them in your code and typing the instance name and the dot (.) will bring up a list of methods and properties. Going into MSDN, if you type in the name of any control/class, it will describe it and most likely give you an example and have associated links. Typing in OleDbConnection.ConnectionString, for example, will bring up a page on what connectionstrings do and how to use them. MSDN brings up MANY searches for ADO.Net Quote

michael_hk Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Example under "OleDbDataReader.Read method" is very simple and clear. Quote There is no spoon. <<The Matrix>>
Arch4ngel Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 MSDN is THE source for code... they're the creator isn't it ? Search man. We aren't gonna give you big code for that. It's so complex that it need a tutorial for that. So... If you wanna learn go to MSDN or find a good tuto. If you're trying to finish a homework that is late ;) ... well... have fun !
