doraemon Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 I wonder if there is a way to change the width of the dropdown portion for the DropDownList Box. Due to space limit of the web form, I need to make the combo box small. But, when the dropdown portion is shown, I would like to show a wider width so all the contents are shown. There is such an option on the window form's dropdownlist box but I could not find it on the web form's. Can anyone help? :o Quote
MorningZ Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 theres no such option Quote If you make it idiot proof, they'll build a better idiot :-)
Moderators Robby Posted April 8, 2004 Moderators Posted April 8, 2004 A dropDownList always sets its' width to the largest row's width. Quote Visit...Bassic Software
doraemon Posted April 8, 2004 Author Posted April 8, 2004 Not when it's on the web, at least it did not do so on my web form. A dropDownList always sets its' width to the largest row's width. Quote
MorningZ Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 Not when it's on the web' date=' at least it did not do so on my web form.[/quote'] if you do not specifiy the "Width", then the control will indeed adjust itself to the longest item.. but its one or the other, you can't do both Quote If you make it idiot proof, they'll build a better idiot :-)
