dakota97 Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Hi all, I just have a quick question about creating real-time apps. I've used VB.Net for all of my apps thus far, and moving onto C# here pretty soon. But, what is the best language (besides JAVA) to write real-time apps? I have a web server that supports all VS.Net, ASP.Net, etc., and I have experience in ASP and VB right now. What would you suggest, and what are the pros and cons that I will be facing? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris Quote if(computer.speed == "slow") { hamster.feed(); } if(computer.speed == "really slow") { hamster.kill(); BuyNewHamster(); }
Moderators Robby Posted April 1, 2004 Moderators Posted April 1, 2004 This has been covered many times on these boards....(more then the two that I've listed below) Either one makes no difference for "real-time apps". http://www.xtremedotnettalk.com/showthread.php?t=73611 http://www.xtremedotnettalk.com/showthread.php?t=84580 Quote Visit...Bassic Software
