Administrators AWS Posted March 6, 2004 Administrators Posted March 6, 2004 Change your browser settings to not notify you of script errors. I am using xp with sp2 build 2082 which has enhanced features to block scripts and activex and I have no problem on this site or any other forum that uses vb3 rc4. The problem is in your browser settings and not a forum problem. Quote Bob Schwarz, Sr. Xtreme .Net Talk Me @ Twitter - Network @ Twitter
*Experts* Volte Posted March 6, 2004 *Experts* Posted March 6, 2004 On a somewhat related note, the dropdown menus on the top toolbar (Search and Quicklinks) span the length of the entire browser in Mozilla. The menus appear on the right hand side of the screen, as normal, and are still usable, but there is a large white portion which extends out the left of the menu to the other side of the browser window. This doesn't happen with the stock vB style, so it must be something extra done with this style. Quote
PetCar Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 I doubt that. I installed my new notebook today and i got the lastest XP fixes etc. on the machine. I dont want to block script-errors etc. just because there are. All other forums works just fine.. but not this one. // Peter Quote

Leaders Banjo Posted March 7, 2004 Leaders Posted March 7, 2004 I think Bob meant that as a work around solution until we've fixed the bug. I've narrowed down the location of the problem but want to have a chat with iNet's vB and style guys since they're the one's who did the upgrade so it'll be Monday before it's sorted out. In the mean time follow Bob's advice and disable script error notification. Quote Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't!

Joe Mamma Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 I changed my options to use the Enhanced editor 'WYSIWYG' and I have no problems. joe Quote Joe Mamma Amendment 4: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
