2-dimensional array(x, y)

If I have a two-dimensional array such as Array1(x, y), how would I parse through the x or y only variables? For each x, I want to modify y.

 

The technique "for i = 0 to Array1.Length - 1" does not work because it has the Array1 length equal to (x * y). All I want is the length of the "x" side.

 

Does this make any sense?

Use .GetLength(i) where i is the dimension
