Navigating between window forms

I am experiencing issues when trying to open a new window form and close the current one.

My current code is the following:

 

Private Sub btnExpenseEntry_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles btnExpenseEntry.Click

       ' Go to the User Entry window
       Dim OtherWindow As New UserEntry()
       OtherWindow.Show()
       Me.Close()

   End Sub

 

The problem is that this code is closing both forms. I did try several variations, but none has been conclusive... :(

 

Any insight will be appreciated.
