mall_rats04 Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 OK, i've been trying to upgrade my computer lately to get some games to work better. I had a ATI Radeon (original) and it finally died on me. So i got an Nvidia FX7000. When i first started up Windows XP was nothin but a bunch of scan lines. My bro disabled one of the cards features in BIOS and its workin fine in windows, and i updated to directx 9. But when i run anything that has to do with 3d, everying has a flashy bright red going across the screen. I tested directx9 and the the first cube (directx 7) was the one that had problems, while 8 and 9 worked fine. The only thing my bro and i can come up with is compatability issues between my card and my motherboard (2 yr old MSI). Anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions on how to correct it?
