leontager Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 hi, i have a problem with explorer. I would like to know the best way to close the security warnings that pop out of explorer. I am talking about the different spyware that certain websites ask me to install. at first i tried using findwindow and sending enter. since the focus was always on the no then it would just disapear. but is there any better way to get rid of them. maybe even a setting in exploer itself :-) ? edit : oh also what if a window is not found using findwindow. it still returns a certain value. how do i know if that window was actually found or not? hog Posted January 24, 2004 Posted January 24, 2004 Are you talking about IE? If so go to Tools->Internet Options->Custom and scroll down there you will see things like Prompt against ActiveX, Scripts etc. But do you really wanna do this? I use BulletProofSoft Spyware Adware remover to clear the nasties of my laptop:) Quote My website
leontager Posted January 24, 2004 Author Posted January 24, 2004 yup, thank you that's what i was looking for. it is just temporary :-). oh and the findwindow didn't work because I didn't declare it properly. I think I got the code from the vb6 forum. Quote
