Get the number of pages of Word document

I do not know anything about .Net. But is there any way that when i click a button on a .Net UI, a function will be called to read the number of pages of a Word document which is present in some source file?

You can use the BuiltInDocumentProperties Property using wdPropertyPages as the index to return the number of pages.
