Can window form get physicalpath of URL?

I want to display the physical path of specific URL. Can window form do that? Which is object or method I can use?

Where is the file that the URL is pointing to? Is it on the local

computer, or on a server somewhere across the Internet?

It is file in LAN, not across the Internet.

Unless there is an app running on the client machine that would

return the physical path of the URL, I don't think it would be

possible beacuse the paths are all relative to the computer in the

eyes of other computers across the LAN.
