Andi03 Posted January 10, 2004 Posted January 10, 2004 Hi I was wundering if it is possible to add the resolution 640*480 to the slider that you find in the settings. U know: Start -> Control Panel -> Monitor -> Settings There is a slider so u drag it and chang ur resolution. But in winxp 640*480 reolution is gone. How can I add it? //Andi Quote
*Gurus* divil Posted January 10, 2004 *Gurus* Posted January 10, 2004 I don't think you can. Who uses that resolution any more? Quote MVP, Visual Developer - .NET Now you see why evil will always triumph - because good is dumb. My free .NET Windows Forms Controls and Articles
*Experts* Bucky Posted January 10, 2004 *Experts* Posted January 10, 2004 If you uninstall your monitor's drivers and use the default "Generic monitor" driver (or whatever it's called), I believe you can then change your monitor's resolution, colors, and refresh rate to anything. Don't change the options to anything too extreme, however, because if it's not an option you had before then the monitor obviously doesn't support other modes. *Experts* Volte Posted January 10, 2004 *Experts* Posted January 10, 2004 I think you can do it with 'Display Properties -> Advanced -> Adapter -> List All Modes' Quote
Andi03 Posted January 10, 2004 Author Posted January 10, 2004 I know, but I just wundered if I could add it to the slider, because it's a long way to go. Quote
