Cannot edit Crystal Reports

I somehow lost the ability to edit crystal reports in vs.net development environment. Opening a crystal report opens the binary text editor. The crystal reports editor does not exist in the 'open with' dialog. Is there a way to get the editor back without reinstalling Vx.

Not sure, but if it were me, I'd reinstall to ensure any other corruption is dealt with. Might save you a lot of bother in the long run
