I_R_Lee Posted December 22, 2002 Posted December 22, 2002 Help!! Yesterday, I donwloaded the VB .NET DirectX 9 SDK. When I open up the prject files, I get numerous errors, including: 'Namespace or type 'DirectX' for the Imports 'Microsoft.DirectX' cannot be found.' Where can I find these, or do I have to download the full SDK (doing that right now anyway)? Quote
*Experts* Volte Posted December 22, 2002 *Experts* Posted December 22, 2002 Did you reboot after you installed the SDK? I downloaded the full package and it worked perfectly fine. Try re-installing it. (You did remember to actually install the package, didn't you? ;)) Quote
I_R_Lee Posted December 22, 2002 Author Posted December 22, 2002 I rebooted after install, I have DX9 installed and I've tried a reinstall, I'll try another install in about 5-10 minutes when the full SDK is down. Quote
*Experts* Bucky Posted December 22, 2002 *Experts* Posted December 22, 2002 I ran into this same problem. If you didn't download the full DX9 SDK, then you also need to download and install the DX9 Developer Runtime: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=FB6B635E-9F47-43D7-8E4E-11DE9356849F&displaylang=en Quote "Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up These are the best days of our lives" -The Ataris, In This Diary
I_R_Lee Posted December 23, 2002 Author Posted December 23, 2002 I've got it working now, I installed the full SDK. Thanks for your help. Quote
