Server.Transfer

I am sucessfully using the Server.Transfer command to transfer information between 2 web forms in my application, but what I would like to do is be able to do the same thing, but have the 2nd form open in a new window so that when the user is done filling out the one form, the originsl will still be there.

 

To make it more clear ... the first form is a work order and the second is a purchase order which is pulling information from the work order to purchase materials for that particular job. When the purchase order is done, the user should be able to close it and still have the work order on the screen.

 

Any Ideas???

This sample Popup Calendar in a New Browser is the closest demo I can think of. It uses a popop window to display a calendar and then passes the date back to the parent window.

You can use some the same technics for your app.
