error while using an inbulit function

i am implementing an mathematical algorithm using vb in code behind page of my aspx page. this is what it says when i run my code. what should i do to remove this error.

 

BC30818: 'Randomize' is not declared. Function has moved to the 'Microsoft.VisualBasic' namespace

Line 148: For j = 0 To novv - 1

Line 149:

Line 150: Randomize()

Line 151: rnumb = (Rnd())

You would need to add a reference to the microsoft.visualbasic namespace and at the top of your file add

Imports Microsoft.VisualBasic

 

or alternatively (and the prefered way) have a look at the class System.Random
