Scooter Posted November 20, 2003 Posted November 20, 2003 I'm new to VB.net and I'm trying to create a simple web page to go on my web site. I have windows 2000 Professional with IIS installed. My problem is that after I create the web form, I don't know how to make it my home page. I save the form in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot, but whenever I go to my home URL path I keep receiving the localstart.asp and the iisstart.asp page, saying that I don't have a default document set as my home page, therefore my site will say "Under Construction". How do I set my web form as my home page? Quote Whenever, wherever, whatever
Moderators Robby Posted November 20, 2003 Moderators Posted November 20, 2003 right-click My Compter | Manage | Services Applications | IIS | right-click "default web site" | documents | check "Enable default docs and enter "default.aspx" or whatever you want. Quote Visit...Bassic Software

Scooter Posted November 20, 2003 Author Posted November 20, 2003 Maybe I started out on the wrong foot somewhere. Are there any walkthroughs that help you set up your server then add VB.net forms. I think that I just need walked through the initial process just to make sure that I did everything right. Quote Whenever, wherever, whatever
