wildfire1982 Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 Hello, Just a quick question. Does the application path retrieving method do the same thing as vb6 where it sometimes put the slash at the end and sometimes didnt? If it isnt doing this in .net, does it always put it on or does it always leave it off? Thanks folks. Chris Quote Chris
Moderators Robby Posted November 19, 2003 Moderators Posted November 19, 2003 VB6 left it out if you were in the root directory of a drive. Quote Visit...Bassic Software
*Experts* Volte Posted November 19, 2003 *Experts* Posted November 19, 2003 Actually, it left in on with the root directory (C:\) but left it off with others (C:\MyProgs\App1). I believe it also left it on if you were running from a network path (\\SERVER\Apps\). Quote
wildfire1982 Posted November 20, 2003 Author Posted November 20, 2003 I never studied it, i just had an extra bit to check if it was there, if not, add it. So... back to my original question. Does .net do the same? Quote Chris
