sde Posted November 11, 2003 Posted November 11, 2003 I have an MDI form with a Main Menu. The Main Menu, Menu Items are named: File &Exit I have more menuitems, but this is enough to ask my question. The underline shows up under the 'E' of exit, but when I press 'Ctrl+E' , it does not trigger the Menu Item Method. Any ideas why I can't get this to work for any of my menu items? Quote codenewbie
Administrators PlausiblyDamp Posted November 11, 2003 Administrators Posted November 11, 2003 ALT+E would work - if you want CTRL+E you will need to set ashortcut key under the menu item's propoerties Quote Posting Guidelines FAQ Post Formatting Intellectuals solve problems; geniuses prevent them. -- Albert Einstein

*Experts* Volte Posted November 11, 2003 *Experts* Posted November 11, 2003 You have to activate the menu first. For example: &File ...E&xit Alt-F-X would cause the File->Exit menu item to fire. Quote
