I'm having some problems installing MSDN from my hard drive. I didn't have time for the install and had to get the CD's back to the school (this is a legal install). So I copied the CD's to my hard drive but when I run the install it looks for all the msdn files from where disk1 is at. Is there anyway I can change where it installs.

You need to copy all the files into the same directory, rather than having separate directories for Disk 1, 2, 3 etc. I do the same thing with my .NET install (it's so very much faster) and that's what I had to do.

Well Faceless as you probably know, it takes a really long time to install this stuff, and I was trying to do my professor a favor and have the disks back to him in an hour. So I just copied them to my hd instead of doing the install. Our school is under the microsoft licensing something or other, so if you're in a class that uses any of visual studio you can install it at home. I'm taking VB .Net right now.

VolteFace that worked great, I'm in debt to ya. VS isn't much use for a newb like me without the help files. Thanks a lot.
