el_chingon Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 where I work, the programmers install any in-house apps on a central server, and the users all run the program from the server. This makes it easy to update any given program. This process has worked fine with VB 6 apps, but we are running into problems when attempting to do this with a .Net program. We are fairly new at this and I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem before, or if there is anything glaring that we might be overlooking. The client is able to run the program if we copy it directly to his machine and obviously has the .Net framework installed. I was under the impression that the server would not need the framework installed, but I will be checking into that. Anyway, any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks el_chingon Quote
