who knows howto acces the w2k pro user management via vb.net.

I don't have active directory.

there are api's for this buth is there not a better .net way for this.

Depends on what you mean by user management. Under most cases you'll need to use the Win32 API.

if a user is a member from a special group then he have acces otherwise not ...

You may well be able to do it and things of this nature through WMI, which has classes under System.Management to help you.
