will asp dot net work on regular IIS?

if i create an asp page with asp.net and c#script, can i run it on a regular IIS server, or do i have to install the dot net framework or anything else?

You have to install the .NET framework or you have Windows2003 Server and installed .NET Framework with the server directly.

You may need to upgrade your MDAC, if I am not mistaken, .NET Framework 1.1 required MDAC 2.7 or above
