web forms control not showing up

Please help me,
Why is it web forms controls like button, combobox, radio button, checkboxes is not showing up in the browser when I run my VB ASP.NET project. Only the label control is showing up. I can't figure out is wrong.

My system is VS2002,IIS5 (local), 1.0 framework

I've heard of a similar problem and executing aspnet_regiis -i in the VS.NET command prompt did the trick. Hope it does for you too.
