Is there some way I can add additional authorization in my web.config for a specific folder that checks IP address?

I know I can place an additional web.config file in this specific folder, but what exact syntax can I place in the config file that would allow access only from specific IP addresses?

There is no way to allow or deny access to IP addresses using web.config, the only thing that we can allow or deny using web.config are users and roles. In order to do this you need to configure the IIS for that specific folder.
