Want to create a newsreader program

I am looking everywhere on the internet about how/where
to start when you want to do a newsreader.
like Examples or what you need to do etc.

Does anyone knows where can I find more information about this?

If you are looking to create a news reader that utilizes the RSS standard then Googling for "RSS" will come up with some good results. Once you now the format you should be able to write a newsreader.
 
I did some research in RSS but this is all for ASP ?
Am i missing something, cause all I want is to create a program like : Newsbin / Binnews / Newsleecher
