Ok, ive been trying to learn a bit more of VB.Net since first time i saw it, i was a bit uneasy with the different structure (aesthetically at least).

Im using XP home edition and trying to compile a code that was downloaded in MSDN about "Loading Classes on the Fly". Although it didnt compile correctly, but when i asked my friend it worked on his VS.NET installation. He is using a Win2k pro.

So my question is,

1. does that have to do something with the O.S. im using?

2. is this a limitation coz i never found one on the system
requirements found on Microsoft's website.

3. Will this program work on XP pro
Loading Classes on the Fly

4. And last but not least, which one is preferable XP pro or Win2k
pro as an O.S. when developing under VB.NET.

Please help before i reformat all my HDD :p

Compiled fine here (VS 2003 and XP). What error did it give? Did you follow the article through and put all the resultant DLLs in the correct places and create the app.config correctly?
