Hello, this is my first of (i hope) many posts here.
What I'm trying to do is make a connection with VNC from vb.net

So, basically I would enter an ip or hostname that I have admin rights to on my network and the vnc server exe and reg settings would be set on the remote machine, then the viewer would startup auotmagically and connect using exsiting NT credentials.

So, I've got no problem writing remote reg entries, and I can copy a file on over to a remote machine (sort of...a better way to do this would be nice) but how do I get the remote machine to actually run the vncserver.exe??

(oh, and I don't want to use pstools to do it :-) )

Thanks for any and all help!

I've been working on the same problem "launching VNC" without using psexec or pskill. The group that will be using the front end is small so I may have them download both utilities along with the install to skirt the license issue. Please let us know if you come across anything :)
