VB.net standard, features missing

Hi, i own Visual Basic .NET standard 2003 and I want to make pocket pc applications, Whats the cheapest version of Visual Basic .NET 2003 that will allow me to do this?, also is it possible to upgrade from Visual Basic .NET standard 2003 instead of paying full pric

You could buy Microsoft Press' "Programming Windows CE" I think it's called. The CD it contains comes with Embedded Visual Studio for doing just this. It's not .Net though, more like VS 6.
 
Yeah but apparently you can do this in .NET but i need to know which one is cheapest, i can get visual studio .net pro cheap but i need to know whether its worth upgrading
 
Go to MSDN site and check the differences in each version of Visual Studio, I develop using VS 2003 EA and this version has all the languages and kits required, but I don't know about the other versions.
 
The pro version has an option for smart device (Pocket PC, etc...) That SHOULD give you what you need.

On a personal note, I'd get Pro anyhow. VB .NET Standard is pretty weak by comparison. But, that's just my opinion
