[VB.NET 2003] Problems with events

Hi,
I have this problem:
using VB.NET rel. 2002 opening two child forms in a MDI application the background form generates events with no problem (e.g. focus events on a textbox).
This doesn't happen in rel. 2003 anymore.

Has someone experienced this kind of behaviour?

My copy works perfectly fine, although I did get a lot of trouble when first installing 2003.

To resolve this I completely removed 2002 and then installed 2003 and all my problems went away.
