How can I make a running VB.NET application appear in the taskbar? As always any help given is greatly appreciated.
 
Notify icon

Not sure what the notify icon is or how to use it. Could you please explain? And as always any help given is greatly apprieciated.
 
Go to your toolbox and drag it onto your form, and then read about it in MSDN. It's very straight forward. Add an icon to the control and it shows up down in the toolbox. Then you can add context menus and such to it to enrich it's functionality.

You do mean system tray, right? (because that is what samsmithnz is telling you how to do)
