System.management not available

Hello,
I am using VB.NET 2003. I am trying to get the drive serial number + mac address through System.management name space. For some reason, it is not available in my machine. VB.NET 2003 does not know system.management name space at all.
Do I have to do anything special to enable this name space?

Have you added a reference to the System.Management dll?
