This is kinda dumb, but how do you compile your project into an executable?

I apoligize for asking an easy question like this but I couldn't find it in the help files or anywhere else - I thought maybe you guys could help me.

EDIT - Oh wait, I was just browsing the folders and I found a current Exe. Does .NET automatically make an executable each time you run it?
