Serial Port inerfacing using C#.NET

Hi..Iam Mohammed Mokhtar...iam not able 2 deal with the serial port using C#.NET that's shame on me...
I have tried 2 use Active Comport toolkit but it's gonna cost me money besides it sux..Anyway,i need some help with that...Someone help me...Iam gonna do it or being able 2 work with serial prt using C#.NET
