Save datagrid to Excel file

Is there a way to save the currently display datagrid into an excel file? If so, mind helping me with the steps?

There's no built in for that... but it's not so hard to do...

But if you want something already donne... sneak around for the XtraGrid from DevExpress (www.devexpress.com)... This new version of the datagrid already exports to EXCEL among with others pretty nice features...

It's not for free but it isn't too expensive considering the functionalities it have... The editors it have too that you can use without the grid...

Very good product... I have all DevExpress products exept a ASPxMenus they have and I can't find anything compared to that...
