Richtextbox wont save...

The Richtextbox wont save if it's not visible. Why Not? It did in VB6. Can anyone help me?

I tried to save with a hidden rich text box and it worked fine. But try this workaround: open a filestream and write the string returned by RichTextBox.Rtf. The result should be the same.
