Renaming the localhost

I need to rename the localhost through a little utility that I'm putting together using VB.Net.

Can somebody please tell me the dead simple .NET command that will do this for me because I can't track down anything on MSDN that's of any use.

If you rename a clients' localhost are they not going to peeved???

It's not me doing it, it's a colleague.

I don't know if he's actually doing it to our company machines or whether he's doing it for his own network at home.

But regardless of the ethics, does anyone have an answer for me?

You can use 127.0.0.1 instead of the machine name, that being said I am closing this thread as I don't see a valid reason to programmatically changing it.
