Removing a reference

How can I remove a reference in VB.net ?
¸I am able to add some, but when I come back to the add references screen, my references are gone althought there are still refered somewhere ( because my code is still working )
Any ideas ?

In the Solution Explorer...Hit the + sign next to References to expand... Right-click on the reference you would like to remove and select Remove (or Delete) from the context menu.
