I am trying (for a week or so) to make my new server work with .NET asp project. I have a totaly new server that i put on win 2000 server and then the .net framework. What I did is to press "built" on my pc (there the project working) and then copy the folder (with all the content) to the server. i am openning the server iis, press "action" and then "new site", in the path i type the the path to the folder that i copiyed. then i right click the new site that created and getting the error massege "can't find the page...". i have only one site that work on the server- he was built with pre .NET asp and he is working (he sits in the "default web site" folder). I got the advice to run again the framework and i did so- it didn't helped. I configure the server myself so it may be problem with the set up.

Since i spent all that money and my hosting contract begins in the first of February I really needs help with that… :(
 
If I remember correctly, you need to install the .NET Framework
SDK first, and then you can proceed to install (or reinstall, in this
case) IIS. I remember having trouble getting ASP.NET to run
correctly when I first tried it, and I believe this was the problem.
