My wife says I can get a pocket PC and to get a good one. Maybe not top of the line, but good.

I do vb/c# programming and I'm looking into which one to get. I need to get it from a respectable place, not "Toms online Palm Outlet".

Places I'm looking into:
  • CompUSA
  • Dell
  • Circut City
  • Office Max
CompUSA and Dell are the only full fledged computer stores that I know about.

I need either something I can walk into or something with a good online reputation. Gateway only has Palms, not pocket PCs.

What models might be good? I keep seeing HP Pocket PCs. I don't care about cell phone or GPS, but wireless networking.

I know it needs to have a USB port for a keyboard and I'll probobly have to get some external memory card to have MP3s and/or movies.

What Pocket PC versions of windows are better? I have XP on my laptop and I want to develop .Net apps for the pocket pc, personal and it would be a good experience for buisiness.

Basically I'm sure I could get a decent deal on a decent pocket PC, but does anyone know any good reputable/reliable sellers? Which version of windows/hardware is better (I'm not too crazy on HP PCs, but their calcs, printers and scanners seem fine; no clue about palms). What software might be good for .net development on Pocket PC.

I mean, it would suck getting a Dell only to find that they make them special and 'unique' and isn't fully .net compatable.

Thanks for any advice :)
