I can't remember where I heard about it, but someone told me that Microsoft will not allow you to create Open Source Apps using .NET, I've always wanted (since .NET went out to developers) to create a Open Source Application.
have you heard about this? or was just a dream I had after having too many beers???

I see no reason for not be able to making open source apps with .NET. There is plenty of those on the internet.

Don't see how they could stop you. After all any code you write is your IP.
There are numerous web sites with open source stuff on them,

I guess then, for what you say, that everything was a weird dream caused by having too many beers that night, cashdog was barking, that's the only thing I remember clearly
I know there are several places around the Internet where you can find "open source" code, but had my doubts after that day.
